O Love Eternal, my soul needs and chooses you eternally! Ah, come Holy Spirit, and inflame our hearts with your love! To love-or to die! To die-and to love! To die to all other love in order to live in Jesus' love, so that we may not die eternally. But that we may live in your eternal love, O Savior of our souls, we eternally sing, "Live, Jesus! Jesus, I love! Live, Jesus, whom I love! Jesus, I love, Jesus who lives and reigns forever and ever. AMEN." (Francis de Sales)

RT@John Michael Talbot: Today's gospel about Jesus walking on water teaches us to pray before we minister, and to minister with real faith that come from prayer. We must be in solitude before we minister to others, and must have real faith to minister in a way that helps others to "walk on water!" But we must not falter, or we will begin to sink as St. Peter did.

RT @John Michael Talbot "I have learned that there is a difference between allowing for imperfections and forgiveness, and enabling habitual dysfunction. The first brings healing and progress in the spiritual life. The second brings sickness and death. The first seems easier, but both require a selflessness that takes years to learn."

O God, as Jesus chngd water n2 wine, turn our daily deadlines n2 lifelines of mission. When we are most bushed, make us most brushed by the breezes of your Spirit. When the bottom drops out & we don’t seem able 2 hold any ground at all, show us how 2 hold on 2 U to get 2 high ground. When our journey through life becomes one of walking on eggshells or walking in circles, show us how 2 walk on water. Amen

Beginners must realize that in order to give delight to the Lord they are starting to cultivate a garden on very barren soil, full of abominable weeds. His majesty pulls up the weeds and plants good seed. Now let us keep in mind that all of this is already done by the time a soul is determined to practice prayer and has begun to make use of it. And with the help of God we must strive like good gardeners to get these plants to grow and take pains to water them so that they don't wither but come to provide refreshment for this Lord of ours.--St. Teresa of Avila
